Sukob
Hun and I went out yesterday. Didn't go with my team mates in Villa Escudero since I had this dental sked (with my Ate). Anyway, me and Hunny went to have lunch at Tiendesitas. It was my first time to go there (thanks, Meeko, for the tip!).
Afterwards, we went to watch Sukob at Robinsons Galleria.
It was scary, all right. But I like scary Asian flicks coz I don't get that scared. Haha! It was ok. I got a lot of gulat moments (though I got tired towards the end). Hun was more scared than I am (squealer!). Some comments though:
- it kinda lacked substance. it kinda didn't show the concept of "faith in God and His saving power".
- one scene makes you wonder if its Feng Shui or Sukob (hehe!)
- kinda unrealistic. oh well... it's a movie (fiction) afterall.
- the "moomoo" is kinda effective. hahaha!
- it was like bitin. i mean, it gives you this it-ended-and-then-what?
- Kris' acting was all the same (from Pido Dida to Magic to Win to Vizconde Massacre to Shake Rattle and Roll to Mano Po to Feng Shui or when she's endorsing Chunky Corned Beef.. and now this).. Imagine.
- was too negative about the whole wedding thingy.
But in fairness, the movie house was packed (and a lot of shrieking people, too). All in all, it was ok. Out of 5 stars.. I'll give it a 3.5.
Hey.. I got to watch the trailer of "You are the One"... with Toni Gonzaga and Sam Milby. It's a romantic comedy and when I saw it I was like "I wanna watch it!".. Ok.. I admit.. I am Jologs.. So what? ^_*
